Lingerie sourcing questions
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Lingerie OEM/ODM Services
Clear, transparent answers to help procurement managers, brand founders and wholesalers understand our manufacturing capabilities, processes and commercial terms.
MOQ & Cooperation
Start with the order model and quantity that fit your launch stage.
What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom lingerie and shapewear?
MOQ depends on the production route:
- Ready-stock styles: from 50 pcs.
- Custom styles: from 300 pcs per style/color.
- Custom fabric runs: typically 500–1,000 pcs.
Colorways, size allocation and packaging are confirmed in the quotation so the MOQ reflects the actual materials and construction involved.
Do you support both OEM and ODM cooperation models?
Yes. We support both models.
OEM: We produce to your tech pack, reference garment, measurements, materials and branding requirements. Proprietary files and product details can be protected under an NDA on request.
ODM: Start with an existing Ljvogues construction and adapt fabric, color, trim, sizing, labels and packaging for a faster route to market.
Sampling & Development
Know what you need to send and when a physical sample can be ready.
How long does sampling take, and how is the sample cost handled?
Stock samples can be ready in 72 hours. Custom samples typically take 7–10 days after construction, materials and measurements are confirmed.
The sample charge is quoted by style and depends on materials, construction and branding. If a sample credit is available, it is stated clearly in the quotation before you pay.
What information or files do I need to provide to start a project?
To review a custom project accurately, send as much of the following as available:
- Tech pack with flat sketches, measurement or grading charts, stitch details and bill of materials.
- Pantone or physical color references.
- Vector logo files for woven labels, heat-transfer tags and packaging artwork.
If you only have a sketch, concept or reference garment, our technical team can help turn it into a working specification during development.
Quality & Compliance
Clarify how production is checked and which documents can be reviewed.
What quality inspection standards do you follow during mass production?
Quality is checked at three stages: incoming material review, inline production checks and final inspection. Final inspection normally follows AQL 2.5 inspection plan, plus the measurements and workmanship points agreed for the order.
Inspection scope and reporting are confirmed before bulk production so both teams are working to the same standard.
Which certifications and test reports can you provide?
Document availability depends on the material, product and production route. Current documents can include OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Class I certificate 26.HCN.12213, GOTS scope certificate GOTS-BVCN9928, ISO 9001/14001, GRS and OCS documentation, plus third-party test reports for approved products.
We confirm the applicable scope before production and do not treat one certificate as valid for every fabric or SKU.
Payment, Shipping & Lead Time
Commercial terms are confirmed per order rather than applied as a blanket promise.
What are your standard payment terms for bulk orders?
Payment terms are confirmed in the proforma invoice before production. New bulk orders typically involve a deposit before material procurement and a balance before shipment; the exact percentage is agreed per order. Letter of credit or other structures can be discussed for approved long-term accounts.
What is the typical bulk production lead time?
Bulk production typically takes 25–45 days from order confirmation. The final schedule depends on the approved style, order quantity, fabric and trim lead times, and the agreed ship date. The confirmed timeline is stated in the proforma invoice.
Which shipping terms and export logistics can you support?
Shipping terms are quoted against the destination, volume and delivery method. Air and sea freight, commercial distribution centers and Amazon FBA destinations can be reviewed. The applicable Incoterms, documents and delivery responsibilities are confirmed in the quotation and proforma invoice.
IP & Confidentiality
Protect the files, designs and brand assets that make your range unique.
How do you protect my intellectual property and designs?
We can sign an NDA before receiving your tech pack or design files. Proprietary designs, patterns and brand assets are kept within the project team and are not displayed publicly or shared with unrelated buyers. Access is limited to the people responsible for costing, sampling and production.
