Support engineering

How We Build Support for Fuller Busts

Plus-size support does not come from one part. The band, wings, cups, straps and closure work as one system, and each is engineered for the larger size range rather than scaled up from a standard pattern.

Wider, Firmer Underband

The underband carries most of the support. We use wider bands with firmer elastic so the bra stays level instead of riding up.

Higher Side Wings and Side Panels

Taller wings and side-support panels smooth the sides and guide breast tissue forward into the cup.

Multi-Part Cups

Two- and three-piece cups, full-cup and three-quarter shapes hold volume without gaping or spilling.

Wider, Padded Straps

Wider, cushioned straps spread the load and reduce shoulder pressure; strap placement is set closer to center to prevent slipping.

3- to 4-Row Closures

Extra rows of hooks spread tension along the back and keep the band secure through the day.

Jelly-Strip or Underwire Support

Choose flexible jelly-strip support for wireless comfort or a sized underwire for maximum lift; both are fitted to the cup shape.

How We Develop Plus-Size Fit

Fit is developed from your size curve, reference and technical requirements, then approved before bulk.

    Size curve and reference

    You share your target sizes, a reference bra or tech pack.

  2. 02

    Pattern and grading

    Our pattern team builds the base pattern for a plus size and sets grading rules for band, cup, wing and strap.

  3. 03

    Fit sampling

    The sampling plan is set by your tech pack, specifications and fabric: which sizes to sample, how many fit rounds and which measurements to check. Custom samples take 7–10 days after details are confirmed.

    Counter sample sealed

    Approved fit, measurements and materials are sealed as the bulk reference.

  5. 05

    Bulk and AQL 2.5

    Inline measurement checks on the largest sizes and final inspection to AQL 2.5.

What sizes do your plus-size bras cover?

We develop bras in bands 30–48 and cups A–H, with DD and above built as dedicated plus-size constructions. Letter sizes have no fixed upper limit: we grade to whatever extended sizes your design and order require.

How is a plus-size bra built differently from a standard bra?

We use wider, firmer underbands, higher side wings, multi-part cups, wider padded straps and 3- to 4-row closures, engineered for fuller busts from the first pattern rather than scaled up from a standard size.

Can you make wireless plus-size bras with real support?

Yes. Our jelly-strip wireless constructions add flexible structure under and around the cup, combined with a reinforced band and side panels for support without underwire.

What is the MOQ for custom plus-size bras?

Custom styles start at 300 pcs per style/color. Sample fees are quoted per style and fully credited against your bulk order.

Can you develop a plus-size bra from our reference sample?

Yes. If you only have a physical sample, we can reverse-engineer the construction, develop a tech pack and grade it across your plus-size range.

How do you decide which sizes to sample?

The sampling plan depends on your tech pack, specifications and fabric. We confirm which sizes to sample and how many fit rounds are needed before starting, so fit is checked where it matters for your range.

How do you keep fit consistent across large sizes in bulk?

We approve the fit sample before bulk, seal the counter sample, check measurements on the line, including the largest sizes, and complete final inspection to an AQL 2.5 plan.

Can I order matching plus-size panties?

Yes. We develop coordinated plus-size bottoms and full bra sets in the same fabrics, lace and colors.
